The Australian Wine Tour Company, established in 1998, are looking for individuals with experience in or detailed knowledge of the wine industry to facilitate day tours to the Yarra Valley from Melbourne.

The role requires fundamental knowledge of…

•  Australian and international wine regions.
• Red, White and Sparkling wine production
• Grape production

You will need the ability to lead groups of approximately 20 people per day whilst delivering a fun and educational program, so strong public speaking ability is vital. The day consists of driving 25 seat vehicles with the following duties…

• customer pick up in Melbourne,
• ticket processing and money handling,
• driving to Yarra Valley,
• coordinating customer experience at up to 4 wineries,
• including presentations on wine tasting,
• wine making and grape production,
• (itinerary and venues set and booked by office, format of presentations will be trained),
• communicating with winery staff,
• safe return of passengers and vehicles back to Melbourne,
• finishing with cleaning the vehicle inside and out ready for next day service.

Hours, approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm with lunch and other breaks throughout the day. 4-5 day training program provided.

Our office and depot are based in Collingwood.

Essential for the role is a valid Victorian Light or Medium Rigid Licence and current Drivers Certificate with significant experience driving commercial passenger vehicles.

We are looking for someone that can offer between 3-5 days per week and weekend days required. On top of displayed salary are inclusions such as Holiday Pay, Sick Pay, Superannuation and Lunch is provided every day on tour.
