Visit Yarra Valley wineries on a tour from Melbourne that includes tastings and a vineyard lunch. You’ll tour four beloved Yarra Valley wineries—Steels Gate Winery, Balgownie Estate, Yering Farm, and Domaine Chandon—while learning about the flavours and terroir of YarraValley wines. This wine tour is a great introduction to the picturesque Yarra Valley wine region, with transfers available from selected locations in Melbourne.
Meet your driver at your selected meeting point, then enjoy views of the scenic countryside on the 1-hour drive from the city to the Yarra Valley. The first stop of the day is the rustic Yering Farm, where you sample wines and check out historic winemaking equipment before heading to Balgownie Estate, famed for its cabernet sauvignon and Shiraz varietals. After a tasting, visit the winery restaurant for a lunch served with a glass of wine and tea or coffee. (If the winery is not serving lunch on the day of the tour, a similar location will be substituted.)
From Balgownie Estate, continue to the award-winning Steels Gate Winery and Domaine
Chandon, the Australian production house of Moët & Chandon —learn about sparkling winemaking as you sip a glass of bubbly.
Following a day of wine tasting, the tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.
